Dr Lori Shore

CLINICAL, COUNSELLING AND ORGANISATIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST

I am a Clinical Psychologist with Counselling and Organisational endorsement with AHPRA. Using a range of evidence-based treatments I work most particularly with clients who have gut and pelvic issues, continence and chronic pain. Together we create possibilities for better mental and physical health.

My current work as a Clinical Psychologist within Alfred Health spans continence, pain and osseointegration services. This is complemented by my role in the multi-disciplinary team at the Frances Perry Pelvic Pain Service. I also combine my private practice with clinical consultancy to WorkSafe and TAC. My previous public health experience includes the Alfred Health Functional Gut Clinic, St Vincent’s Hospital (Melbourne) IBD clinic and Barwon Health Pain Management clinic.

I began my own journey in 1992 working as a provisional psychologist in counselling and organisational psychology in regional Victoria and I have a commitment to supporting mental health in rural areas. My early career was then as an Organisational Psychologist working in management consultancies and human resource management positions
